Best Overall Tournament

The Americas Cardroom US$12 Million GTD NLH Mystery Bounty Venom offers the strongest combination of prize pool, bounty potential and qualification options this week.
Its final Day 1 flights run Thursday, August 27 and Sunday, August 30 at 12:05 p.m. ET. The US$2,650 event carries a US$12 million guarantee, a US$500,000 top mystery bounty and a US$5,000 minimum mystery bounty.
Multiple qualification routes are available, cumulative qualifying stacks are permitted, and players reaching Day 2 are guaranteed money. Day 2 begins August 31, Day 3 follows September 1 and the final table is September 2.
The parallel PLO Venom has the same remaining Day 1 dates, a US$3 million guarantee and a US$250,000 top bounty.
Biggest Guaranteed Prize Pool
The US$12 million NLH Mystery Bounty Venom has the largest confirmed single-tournament USD guarantee this week.
Other confirmed figures include the US$3 million PLO Venom, US$2.5 million ACR 25th Anniversary Tournament and US$250,000 PokerStars MicroMillions Main Event.
CoinPoker advertises US$50 million in guarantees across the entire GOPC series. That figure is series-wide and should not be compared directly with the US$12 million guarantee attached to one Venom tournament.
Best Low-Buy-In Tournament
The US$22 PokerStars MicroMillions Main Event PKO is the strongest confirmed affordable tournament this week.
It starts August 30 with a US$250,000 guarantee and a progressive knockout format. Satellites begin at US$2.20.
MicroMillions continues through August 31, with series buy-ins ranging from US$1.10 to US$22 and more than US$2 million guaranteed across the series.
Best Satellite
Americas Cardroom Venom Fever offers the strongest confirmed qualification route this week.
The promotion includes routes starting from freerolls, Direct and Mega Satellites, Venom Madness qualifiers, Beast tournament seats and Survivor Flip steps. More than 1,500 Venom seats are guaranteed across the promotion.
The qualifying campaign ends August 30, making this the final week to qualify for the US$12 million NLH Venom or US$3 million PLO Venom.
Repeated satellite attempts can eventually cost more than buying the target tournament entry directly, so players should set a firm qualification budget.
Best Tournament Series
CoinPoker’s Global Online Poker Championship is the strongest complete series running this week.
The GOPC runs August 23 through September 28 with US$50 million in series-wide guarantees. Buy-ins range from US$2.20 to US$25,500, with separate Europe, Asia and Latin America schedules and daily Medal Events.
Key tournaments include:
- US$530 Main Event: US$3 million GTD
- US$55 Global Main: US$1 million GTD
- US$11 Global Mini Main: US$250,000 GTD
- Four US$215 CoinMillion tournaments: US$1 million GTD each
- Regional leaderboard prizes: More than US$200,000
Opening-week action includes regional 6-Max Championships, Medal Events and Main Event flights.
